had lost a child to someone speeding, and that person also
admitted it changed his life.
Ed retired just before Joyce was diagnosed with cancer.
She succumbed to the disease a little over two years ago.
He experienced the deep sorrow of losing someone who is
deeply loved, and he is now comforting others facing similar
loss.
Ed is an active participant at Lockney Methodist Church. He
belongs to American Legion Post 141 who built Hunter and
Perales Memorial Park in Lockney. He serves on the Veterans
Honor Guard who participate in veteran graveside services.
For several years, Ed ministered to prison inmates, especially
at Rotan. In 1976 they moved to Lockney, where Ed worked Vietnam veterans who found themselves incarcerated.
