Aneed for assistance with
daily living tasks becomes more of
an issue. We reach a point where we
need someone to help. Maybe it’s as
simple as making sure we’re taking
our medications in a timely manner,
or maybe help with bathing, balance
or meal preparation. Options for
assistance are limited – we don’t want
to rely on our kids, and we may not be
sure about in-home personal care.
The best option is to join an Assisted
Living facility and rely on the excellent
nursing and health aide staff they
have. A good, licensed Assisted
Living facility will help us with the tasks of
daily living including at a minimum, bathing
assistance, medication management, and three
meals a day.
Carillon Senior Living is expanding the
Assisted Living section of their retirement
community to better serve the Seniors of
Lubbock and the surrounding community.
Their facility provides the three types of
assistance mentioned above, plus assistance
with dressing for starting and ending each day,
24 hour nursing, free transportation to medical
appointments, access not only to the Assisted
Living dining room but also to the other dining
areas on the campus, a full complement of
Physical Therapy, Occupational and Speech
Therapy, and access to the activities offered on
campus for all residents.
The Carillon Foundation is having a Gala of Giving to benefit
this expansion, to be held at the Ranching Heritage Center on
November 16, 2025 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and you are invited!
There will be a silent and live auction with plenty of food and
drink. Every penny raised will go toward the expansion of the
Assisted Living facility, enhancing lives for more seniors in the
Lubbock community. Please contact the Foundation at
806-281-6137 for further information.
